Amended Cancellation Policy
Due to the uncertainty of the oil spill and its future effects to our area waters, Breakers East has amended its cancellation policy to give you peace of mind about your upcoming reservations. We want you to come down and enjoy your stay, and we are asking our guests to not cancel their reservations, unless our beaches are closed due to oil contamination. If oil is determined to be in our local waters and our beaches are closed, we will let you cancel your reservation with no financial penalties. Therefore, if you have a $500 deposit for an upcoming reservation, do not worry about losing your deposit if the oil spill happens to come our way.
At the present time, Destin has not been affected at all due to the oil spill in the gulf. Our beaches are as beautiful as ever, and the water is safe for swimming! We will continually update our website to give you the most accurate information regarding the oil spill and the affects it may be having on our local beaches. You can also view the current NOAA Deep Horizon Oil Spill Trajectory Map. Please feel free to call our office, and we will be happy to give you the most current conditions of our beaches and put your mind at ease about your upcoming vacation here at Breakers East.
